The company SophistIT, s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data primarily for the following purposes:
- fulfillment of contractual and pre-contractual obligations,
- compliance with legal obligations (accounting, taxes, archival requirements),
- communication with customers and business partners,
- marketing activities (based on consent or legitimate interest),
- operation and security of the website,
- recruitment processes and job applicant records.
The legal basis for processing is consent of the data subject, performance of a contract, legal obligation, or legitimate interest of the Company.
Categories of Data Subjects and Data
Data subjects include primarily customers, business partners, website visitors, and job applicants.
We process mainly ordinary personal data (identification and contact details). Special categories of personal data are processed only when required by law.
Retention Period
Personal data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing or for the period stipulated by specific legal regulations.
Recipients of Personal Data
Personal data may be disclosed to authorized employees of the Company and contractual processors (e.g., accountant, IT services), always in compliance with GDPR.
Transfer to Third Countries
Personal data is not transferred to third countries or international organizations.
Automated Decision-Making
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place in the processing of personal data.

- access your personal data,
- rectification or erasure of personal data,
- restriction of processing,
- object to processing,
- data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time,
- lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
